F.A.Q.s
1. If I am flying into
Idaho where do I fly into and out of? Boise, Idaho we will take care of
your flights from Boise to Salmon and from the river back to Boise.
2. When do I need to be
in Boise? Most people fly into Boise the afternoon before their
scheduled launch date and then fly on up to Salmon. If you are able to get a
flight that arrives in Boise before 11:30 am the day of your launch you might
want to fly up then instead. If you are driving in you need to be in Salmon by
1:00 pm on your scheduled launch date.
3. When do I get back
to Boise? 5-days after your scheduled launch date you should arrive in
Boise 11:00 am in plenty of time to catch a flight home. If you are driving you
will get back to Corn creek and your car around 12:00 noon.
4. Do I really need
rain gear? Yes, if it turns off rainy, cheap rain gear could ruin your
whole trip. The best thing that can happen is that you bring or rent it and it
stays sunny and warm and you don't need it.
5. Do you supply tents,
sleeping bags and pads? We supply 3-4 man tents and sleep no more than
two people in them. We ask that you bring your own sleeping bag. If you do not
have a sleeping bag and pad we can rent them to you for $25.00 for the entire
trip. Sleeping bags and pads are not needed on complete lodge stay trips.
6. What meals are
included? All meals are included while on the river and at the lodges.
You are on your own for lunch the first and last day of the trip.
7. What previous
knowledge do I need to have? None.
8. What are your age
restrictions? We prefer 6-year's old and up.
9. Must I speak English
to participate in activities? You don't need to speak English to enjoy
and participate. However, our multi language guides are very limited.
10. The rental form
shows kayaks are those the inflatables and sit-on-tops? No, the
inflatable kayaks and sit-on-tops are included and offered free of charge on
any trip you are on, water levels permitting. The kayak rentals are hard-shell
kayaks for folks taking a kayak-workshop or support trip.
11. What are your
policies regarding tipping? Tips are accepted but not
required.
12. Do I need to tip
the lodges? No part of the tip you may leave goes back to the lodges.
Please remember tips are not required.
13. What is your policy
regarding cancellations? We have a no refund policy on cancellations but
are very willing to work with you on moving to another date. Please see our
reservation form.

regarding deposits? We ask for a $350.00 per person deposit.
15. Do you serve or
supply alcohol? We supply a limited amount of beer and wine. You are
welcome to bring additional alcohol, including any hard alcohol you might like.
Please no bottled beer, cans only.
16. What transportation
is provided? Everything from Salmon, Idaho and back to Salmon or Boise,
depending on your needs.
17. How do we get back
to Boise or Salmon? If you are flying into Idaho and then into Salmon we
will fly you via back country air taxi from the river straight back to Boise.
If you are driving into Salmon we will jet boat you back up the river to your
car at Corn Creek. Weather and water levels permitting. Unless otherwise
arranged.
18. What is your
maximum group size? 16 - 18 guests but are able to take larger groups up
to 24 people if they are in one group.
19. What do I need to
bring? Please see the enclosed what to bring list.

first aid training, just in case? Yes, all guides are required by the
state of Idaho to have basic first aid. In addition most of our guides have
recieved a 9 day Wilderness First Responder class and at least one guide on the
trip will have that class.
